Sine, Helen Irene – Passed away peacefully at Stirling Towers after her second battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents George and Violet Gill , and her husband Ralph ( 6 hours short of the same day and time 13 years ago) who also battled cancer. Her son Steven also died of cancer 35 months prior. She died peacefully with her last words telling me (her son) that she loved me and she was ok. She then turned to look to the other side of her bed and said “I told you I’m on my way Ralph” ; turned back to me again, smiled and drifted unconscious. She leaves behind her son David Sine (Kealani) , daughter-in-law Amber Sine, sisters Geraldine Townes (Abe) ,their daughter Sherry (Luis) and sons Corbin and Logan, Linda Masters (Leonard) their son Lenny, Doreen Closson, Freddie Gill, and her grandchildren Malia, Colby, Kalei, Sammy, Leiana and Toby. By her wishes there will be no funeral or wake, but rather a karaoke, line dancing, fun filled celebration of life to be announced. Her ashes will be placed alongside her husband whom she wanted to re-join so badly for so long. Rather than flowers or any other items, consider donating to Trillium Kids, a non-profit for medically fragile children fighting life-limiting diseases.
